The site off Paradise Drive in Tiburon is spectacular – on one side hills and mountains, on the other beach and bay. The house is a horizontal floor and roof that frames these natural elements and become the walls and edge the interior space.

The building is a long bar, filling a saddle in the landscape. The arrival and entry are on the upper level via a bridge, which through a hole in the bar, view the San Rafael Bridge across the Bay. From the two story entry, a stair spirals down to lower level and water.

All the public spaces of the house are located on the lower level, terracing down to the beach and bay on one side, and to the hills and mountains on the other.

On the upper level are the bedrooms with the master opening to the promontory on the north, and the garage to the roadway on the south.

Along the length of the bar, incised courts and decks merge inside and outside.
