The design establishes a reflective and glassy world in which to try and buy glasses.
The Optical Center is a multiple outlet store, with different locations and configurations, so a palette of components are established to be deployed site specifically to create the Optical Center brand.
Clear glass storefronts with optical charts are the exterior logo which frame the interior. Black slate floors run inside and wrap the rear wall folding into shelves. Etched glass, back lit, encloses the exam rooms. Grey creates a neutral stage for frames, hung on floating white walls, to present themselves to buyers. Floating benches rest in the center.
The atmosphere is tranquil and light so that everything looks good.
