Lieff is a boutique winery in the Napa Valley. Its structure is derived from the wood construction of the wine barrel, supported by metal posts that hold it together. The center is a non-conditioned open court for delivery, crushing and other activities, with barrel and tank storage in the two thickened walls flanking the court. The open design of the building facilitates the flow from vineyard to bottle.
